TOUCH IT is the R3WEAR programme dedicated totactile garment analysis: recognising fibres, quality, defects, construction and a garment’s potential through touch and observation.
The aim is not simply to decide whether a garment is “beautiful” or “ugly”, but to learn how to assess itsdurability, repairability and potential for transformation.
The Open Collection thus becomes a real laboratory: garments are analysed, selected and directed towards reuse, repair or upcycling.
Not just mend. Transform.
Sewing, screen printing, dyeing and eco-printing become tools for transforming a used garment into aone-of-a-kind piece.
